Accountant

Cocolily Chocolates is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Dubai. This full-time opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals with UAE experience who have a strong understanding of bookkeeping, VAT compliance, and financial reporting within a fast-paced business environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting operations, and supporting monthly financial activities. Candidates with experience in the F&B or retail sector and those currently based in the UAE are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting activities and bookkeeping functions.

• Process invoices, payments, expense records, and account reconciliations.

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.

• Assist with VAT filings, payroll processing, and monthly financial reporting.

• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to support financial operations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of UAE accounting experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT, and financial reporting.

• Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Experience in the F&B or retail industry is an advantage.

• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
