A leading medical group in Sharjah is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in the healthcare sector and a solid understanding of financial reporting and UAE taxation requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization’s financial operations. Applicants must have prior experience in the medical or healthcare industry and possess excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare accounting reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.
• Reconcile accounts and monitor financial transactions.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support financial planning, budgeting, and audit requirements.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements:
• CA or ACCA qualification.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Previous experience in the medical or healthcare industry is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting principles.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial reporting.
• UAE VAT compliance.
• Accounting standards and reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
