Description:
Ethart is looking for an experienced Accountant to join its team in Dubai. This opportunity is suitable for accounting professionals with experience in the construction or contracting sector and strong knowledge of financial operations, reporting, and UAE VAT compliance.
The successful candidate will manage daily accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, handle reconciliations, support financial reporting, and ensure smooth coordination of supplier payments and customer collections. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and the capability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.
• Prepare financial reports, account statements, and reconciliations.
• Handle supplier payments and customer collections.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and support payroll-related accounting activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and financial policies.
• Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities.
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in a contracting or construction company.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Tally ERP.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, payroll, VAT, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong knowledge of:
• UAE VAT compliance and financial reporting
• Zoho Books, Tally ERP, and Microsoft Excel
• Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
