Role Overview

Next Generation School Dubai is recruiting for nine teaching and student-support roles across kindergarten, English, Arabic, Islamic Studies, humanities, teaching assistance and elementary pastoral care. Depending on the position, you will contribute to classroom learning or students’ day-to-day wellbeing, helping the school deliver its American curriculum and support learners’ academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age- and subject-appropriate learning in your assigned role.
• For teaching positions, use approaches suited to an American curriculum and the needs of your students.
• Establish a safe, inclusive classroom or learning environment that encourages participation.
• Monitor students’ progress and provide appropriate guidance to support their academic development.
• Contribute to students’ social and personal wellbeing through your teaching or pastoral responsibilities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership, and communicate with parents where relevant to your role.
• Use educational technology where it supports teaching, learning or student engagement.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A relevant university degree in the subject or position for which you are applying.
• Relevant qualifications and experience for your specialist area.
• Previous teaching experience in an American curriculum school is preferred for teaching positions.
• Knowledge of American curriculum teaching methods, classroom management and ways to engage students.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to use educational technology effectively.
• Ability to satisfy applicable UAE regulatory requirements and school approval processes.
• Humanities applicants should have experience with AP Psychology.
