Industrial Attachment Opportunities
Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC) is pleased to announce industrial attachment vacancies for students currently enrolled in degree or diploma programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to sustainable energy solutions for all through renewable energy and rural electrification. Successful candidates will work alongside experienced professionals dedicated to driving efficient and reliable socio-economic transformation.
Fields of Attachment
Attachments are available in a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to:
- Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Renewable Energy)
- Finance and Accounting
- Human Resources Management
- Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- Other relevant fields as may be identified
Duration
Strictly three (3) months, non-renewable.
Intake Periods
The attachment intake will take place as follows:
- July 2026
- October 2026
- January 2027
- April 2027
Eligibility
Applicants must be continuing students in a recognized institution of higher learning and must have a valid letter of introduction from their institution. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
