Job Title: Tour Operations Coordinator

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tour Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be accountable for the daily processing of all relevant incoming requests and ensuring that every booking is handled accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with agents and internal teams to deliver high-quality tour proposals and documentation while maintaining correct margins and cost capture.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Incoming Requests: Accountable for the daily processing of all relevant incoming requests according to set standards.
• Acknowledge and Prepare Proposals: Acknowledge agents’ emails and prepare accurate and detailed tour proposals on time.
• Manage Bookings: Ensure bookings are captured correctly and that all services are booked without errors.
• Prepare Documentation: Prepare booking documentation as per the set guidelines, ensuring completeness and compliance.
• Monitor Costs and Margins: Ensure costs are captured correctly, files are invoiced, and the correct margins are achieved.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

A relevant degree-level education in Tourism and Hospitality is preferred, or a Higher National Diploma in the same field.

Experience

Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in a similar role.

Knowledge and Skills

• Tour Plan Knowledge: Strong tour plan knowledge is a significant advantage.
• Product Knowledge: Advanced tourism product knowledge is a must.
• Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Customer Service: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills across all levels.
• ICT Proficiency: Proficient in ICT systems and booking software.
• Language: Proficiency in English is required; any additional foreign language will be an advantage.
