Job Description: Senior Lecturer
Minimum Qualifications
- Masters degree in a relevant field
- Earned PhD in the relevant area of specialty
Required Experience
- At least eight (8) years of university teaching experience, with three (3) of these years served as a full-time Senior Lecturer
Research and Publication Record
- At least 48 publication points, of which 32 points must be from articles published in refereed scholarly journals since appointment as Senior Lecturer
- Evidence of continued research activity
- Demonstrated attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars, or workshops
Supervision
- Since appointment as Senior Lecturer, successfully supervised to completion at least five (5) Master’s students and one (1) PhD student
Grants and University Service
- Evidence of successfully securing at least two (2) research grants since appointment as Senior Lecturer
- Evidence of active participation and leadership in university activities
