Description:
A reputable organization in Dubai is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance department. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced finance professional who can effectively manage accounting operations while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, handling reconciliations, supporting reporting activities, and managing accounts-related functions. The position requires strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical thinking, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
This role offers the chance to contribute to a collaborative finance team while gaining valuable exposure to diverse accounting responsibilities and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and financial transactions
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Perform account, bank, and ledger reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and reporting requirements
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• At least 1 year of UAE experience in a similar accounting role
• Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
• Strong knowledge of:
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Account Reconciliations
• UAE VAT Regulations
• IFRS Standards
• Financial Reporting Practices
