Description:
VAS Global Services is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join its Finance team at the Head Office in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about accuracy, financial reporting, and maintaining strong accounting standards within a structured corporate environment.
The selected candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting month-end closing activities. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting records
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and process vendor payments
• Handle petty cash management and expense tracking
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting activities
• Assist in audit preparation and documentation
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and company policies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• Up to 4 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and accounts payable
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software/systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Strong knowledge of:
• Accounting principles and financial reporting
• Bookkeeping and reconciliation processes
• Internal financial controls and compliance standards
• Accounting systems and financial documentation
