Description:
PMK Group is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Civil Draftsman to join its team in Jebel Ali, Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in preparing technical drawings and supporting construction projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
The selected candidate will be responsible for producing accurate civil and structural drawings, coordinating with engineering and project teams, and ensuring that all documentation complies with project specifications and UAE construction standards. The role requires strong technical drafting abilities and a solid understanding of construction practices.
Candidates with experience working on high-rise buildings, villas, commercial developments, and infrastructure projects within the UAE or GCC construction sector are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of advanced drafting tools and attention to detail will be essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed civil and structural shop drawings for construction projects
• Develop general arrangement (GA), elevation, section, layout, and detail drawings
• Prepare and update as-built drawings based on site conditions
• Revise drawings according to consultant, client, and project requirements
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, UAE regulations, and industry standards
• Coordinate with project engineers, site engineers, architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams
• Prepare coordinated drawings to support construction execution
• Assist project teams in resolving drawing-related issues and discrepancies
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and document control records
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and BOQ requirements
• Prepare reinforcement detailing and concrete detailing drawings
• Support site teams with technical drafting requirements and project documentation
• Ensure timely submission of drawings for review and approval
• Prepare quantity-related drawings and detailed construction layouts
• Maintain compliance with consultant standards and municipality requirements
Requirements:
• Diploma, ITI, or Certification in Civil Drafting or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Civil Draftsman
• Mandatory UAE/GCC construction industry experience
• Experience working on high-rise buildings, villas, and commercial projects
• Infrastructure project experience is preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
• Strong knowledge of:
• AutoCAD
• Civil drafting standards and technical documentation
• Shop drawings and structural detailing
• Reinforcement and concrete detailing
• Revit (preferred)
• Civil 3D (added advantage)
