Description:
Al Barari Group is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join its growing team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for a procurement professional with a strong background in the restaurant and hospitality sector, coupled with extensive experience in sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the timely procurement of food, beverage, and operational supplies while maintaining the highest standards of quality and cost efficiency. This position requires excellent negotiation skills, strong market knowledge, and the ability to build productive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Working closely with operational teams, the Procurement Officer will help optimize purchasing processes, control costs, and support the smooth functioning of business operations. Key Responsibilities:
• Source and procure food, beverage, and operational supplies in accordance with business requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement activities with operations teams.
• Ensure timely purchasing while maintaining quality and cost standards.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and identify new sourcing opportunities.
• Prepare procurement reports, spending summaries, and cost analyses.
• Monitor market trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience within Dubai.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management.
• Experience negotiating supplier contracts and securing competitive pricing.
• Knowledge of food, beverage, and operational supply procurement.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers and procurement activities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications.
