Description:
A leading organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Language Teacher to support adult learners within the defense and aviation sectors. This role focuses on enhancing both general and operational English language proficiency for non-native English speakers, helping learners achieve effective communication in professional and technical environments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult education and English language instruction. Experience in Aviation English and familiarity with ICAO language proficiency standards are highly desirable. However, exceptional General ESL/EFL instructors with a willingness to expand into aviation-specific training are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality English language instruction to adult, non-native English speakers
• Design and implement effective lesson plans focused on general and operational communication skills
• Develop engaging learning materials tailored to aviation and defense industry requirements
• Integrate aviation-related language training and ICAO proficiency standards where applicable
• Evaluate learner performance and provide constructive feedback
• Adapt teaching methodologies to accommodate varying proficiency levels
• Monitor student progress and support continuous language development
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure training objectives are achieved
Requirements:
• Proven experience teaching English to adult learners
• Experience working with non-native English speakers is essential
• Background in Aviation English, technical communications, or ICAO standards is highly desirable
• Strong General ESL/EFL teaching experience with the willingness to develop aviation-focused content
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching approaches to different learning styles and proficiency levels
• Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity in diverse learning environments
