Job Description
Job Purpose:
- The Role is the point of contact for customers for ensuring positive customer experience and marketing to both new and existing customers in order to grow quality business on both the assets and liability book and generate revenue lines as per agreed targets with the segment head.
- Responsible for retention of existing customers, growing the wallet share from existing business and effective relationship management of the assigned portfolio. The focus to be on shariah compliant financing and overall Barakah Banking book across all branches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and approach potential clients, introducing Bank products and services.
- Strengthen ties with existing clients through cross-selling and expanding engagement.
- Conduct regular meetings to foster client relationships and expand connections.
- Gather crucial financial and non-financial documents for credit analysis.
- Develop strategies to grow the assigned portfolio and implement them.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing accounts and responding promptly.
- Build strong client relationships and attend events for further interaction.
- Customize banking solutions to meet client business needs based on their operations.
- Offer exceptional customer service and guide clients on investment products.
- Share results, propose solutions, and recommend concessions when needed.
- Handle a diverse range of clients, from MSMEs to large SMEs, addressing their unique needs.
- Ensure AML/KYC compliance, analyze financials, negotiate terms, and coordinate processes to deliver services effectively.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Science or related field.
- Knowledge and certifications on Islamic Banking.
Professional Qualifications / Membership to professional bodies/ Publication:
- Relevant professional qualification.
- Member of a relevant professional body.
Work Experience Required:
- At least Four (4) years relevant experience in a similar organization.

- Strong leadership skills.
- Executive disposition.
- Demonstrate high levels of integrity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough understanding of the Banking Sector.
- Thorough understanding of Bank Products.
- Ability to create and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
