Bodyshop Supervisor (Denting & Painting)

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Bodyshop Supervisor to oversee the denting and painting operations at our workshop in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality repairs, managing a team of technicians, and maintaining efficient workflow to meet delivery deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Management: Supervise the day-to-day operations of the denting and painting sections to ensure maximum productivity and quality.
• Quality Control: Inspect vehicles at various stages of the repair process (preparation, denting, priming, painting, and polishing) to ensure they meet company and manufacturer standards.
• Team Leadership: Guide and motivate a team of panel beaters (denters) and spray painters. Manage staff schedules and provide technical training where necessary.
• Estimation & Assessment: Assist in assessing vehicle damage and providing accurate estimates for labor and materials.
• Inventory Control: Monitor the usage of consumables (paint, fillers, abrasives) and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure stock availability.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all workshop safety protocols are strictly followed, including the correct use of PPE and the maintenance of spray booths and tools.
• Customer Coordination: Update service advisors on job statuses to ensure customers are kept informed of delivery timelines.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an automotive bodyshop, with supervisory or team lead role.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of chassis alignment, panel beating techniques, paint mixing, color matching, and oven operations.
