Job Description
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in planning and supervising daily transport operations and deliveries.
- Support scheduling of daily and weekly transport routes for drivers.
- Monitor vehicle movement and track shipments using transport tracking systems.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure proper dispatch and delivery of goods.
- Monitor transport costs and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure transport documentation and delivery records are properly maintained.
- Report vehicle maintenance and repair requirements.
- Supervise drivers and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Support implementation of transport SOPs and operational reporting systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Degree in Transport Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in transport, fleet, or logistics operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and transport tracking systems.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of transport regulations and safety compliance is an added advantage.
