Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
- To fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and equipment in line with technical drawings and safety standards to ensure operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cut, shape, and weld metal components using appropriate welding methods (MIG, TIG, Arc)
- Fabricate and repair machinery, equipment, and structural components
- Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Always adhere to health and safety and Biosecurity regulations
- Report defects and recommend corrective action
CANDIDATE'S PROFILE:
- Certificate or Diploma in Welding / Fabrication or related field
- Valid welding certification preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years' relevant experience
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Knowledge of metal properties and welding techniques
