KOVA Building Contracting L.L.C is actively expanding its operations across the UAE and is currently seeking an experienced and commercially focused QS Engineer to join its growing team. The company is involved in delivering large-scale Dark Store developments, commercial fit-out projects, as well as civil and MEP works for prominent clients across the region.

This opportunity is ideal for a results-driven Quantity Surveyor who can effectively manage project costs, oversee contractual matters, and ensure financial efficiency throughout the entire construction lifecycle. The selected candidate will play a vital role in maintaining project profitability while supporting smooth coordination between technical and commercial teams. Immediate availability is highly preferred.

What You Will Handle:

• Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ) along with accurate cost estimations for projects.
• Monitor project budgets and maintain strict commercial cost control measures.
• Manage variations, claims documentation, and contractual communications with stakeholders.
• Prepare and administer subcontract agreements and verify payment certifications.
• Handle client billing processes and prepare progress valuations based on project milestones.
• Coordinate closely with site teams, design departments, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on project costs and timelines.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 3–5 years of relevant UAE experience, preferably in fit-out or fast-track construction projects.
• Strong understanding of UAE construction market pricing and cost structures.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple commercial responsibilities efficiently.
