Duties and Responsibilities
Content Creation & Production
- Develop and produce engaging TikTok videos that align with the brand’s identity, messaging, and marketing goals.
- Shoot high-quality videos using a smartphone or camera, ensuring good lighting, framing, and sound.
- Edit videos using tools like CapCut, InShot, or other mobile editing software, adding captions, effects, transitions, and soundtracks as needed.
- Create content that follows trending formats, challenges, and viral trends on TikTok.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule and ensure content is delivered on time.
Creative Strategy & Planning
- Brainstorm and pitch new content ideas that resonate with TikTok audiences.
- Collaborate with the marketing and social media team to develop content calendars and campaign plans.
- Experiment with different video styles, formats, and storytelling approaches to maximize engagement.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on trends, audience preferences, and analytics.
Audience Engagement & Brand Growth
- Monitor audience engagement on TikTok, responding to comments and interactions when appropriate.
- Analyze video performance metrics (views, likes, shares, watch time, etc.) and adjust content strategy accordingly.
- Develop strategies to grow followers, increase brand visibility, and drive measurable results.
Brand Representation & Collaboration
- Represent the brand confidently on camera, maintaining a professional yet approachable presence.
- Collaborate with other content creators, influencers, or internal team members on joint campaigns.
- Ensure that all content is aligned with brand guidelines, voice, and values.
Continuous Learning & Improvement
- Stay updated on TikTok trends, algorithm changes, and platform best practices.
- Keep track of competitor content strategies to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Attend workshops, webinars, or training sessions to improve content creation skills.
Key Requirement Skills And Qualification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience creating TikTok content.
- Confident, energetic, and comfortable on camera.
- Skilled in basic video editing (CapCut, InShot, or similar tools).
- Creative, socially savvy, and results-driven.
- Strong understanding of TikTok trends, algorithms, and audience engagement.
- Interest or experience in beauty or skincare content is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary: Ksh. 43,000
