Description:
Battmobile, one of the UAE’s leading onsite automotive service providers, is expanding its finance function and is currently hiring a Senior Finance Executive to join its growing team. With a large operational footprint, round-the-clock services, and a strong customer base, this role offers an opportunity to take real ownership of financial operations within a fast-paced business environment.

In this role, you will function in a capacity similar to an Assistant Accounting Manager, playing a key part in overseeing accounting activities, managing reporting cycles, and supporting compliance requirements. The position is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who is comfortable leading teams and working closely with management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing end-to-end accounting activities and detailed ledger reviews
• Managing month-end and year-end closing processes
• Preparing and analyzing financial reports including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
• Leading, mentoring, and supervising a team of accountants
• Supporting UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and reporting
• Coordinating audits and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with ACCA considered a strong advantage
• 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
• Strong hands-on experience with Zoho Books (mandatory requirement)
• Solid working knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax regulations, and IFRS
• Advanced Excel skills with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Prior experience in the automotive or retail sector is a strong advantage
