Al Aabdi Holding is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Officer / Senior Officer – Risk Engineering to join its team in Abu Dhabi. This role is well suited for professionals with a solid engineering background who are experienced in assessing risks, improving safety standards, and supporting risk management and underwriting processes.
In this position, you will be responsible for evaluating operational and engineering risks across various sites, preparing technical assessments, and contributing to effective risk mitigation strategies. The role requires strong analytical abilities, clear reporting skills, and the confidence to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out on-site risk engineering assessments and technical inspections
• Identify potential operational, engineering, and safety-related risks
• Analyze findings and recommend practical risk mitigation measures
• Prepare detailed technical risk reports and improvement recommendations
• Support underwriting teams with risk-related insights and evaluations
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners when required
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Previous experience in risk engineering, loss prevention, or similar technical roles
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent report-writing and documentation skills
• Familiarity with international risk standards, codes, and best practices
• Prior experience within the UAE is considered an advantage
