Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Performance will be evaluated based on achievements in the following areas:
- Organic Traffic Growth: Increase in website sessions from organic search (MoM & YoY).
- Keyword Rankings: Improved rankings for high-priority keywords (Top 3 & Top 10).
- Conversions: Growth in conversions driven by organic traffic.
- Technical SEO Health: Improvements in Core Web Vitals, error resolution, and crawl efficiency.
- Content Performance: Boost in impressions, CTR, and traffic from optimized content.
- Backlink Profile: Growth in high-quality backlinks and domain authority.
- Project Execution: Timely delivery of SEO initiatives with measurable impact.
- Cross-Functional Impact: Effective SEO integration across internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic SEO Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business goals.
- Own the SEO roadmap from ideation to execution and performance evaluation.
2. Technical SEO Excellence
- Conduct technical SEO audits and implement fixes to improve site architecture, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, and indexability.
- Collaborate with Tech teams to ensure technical implementations follow SEO best practices, including schema markup and server-side optimization.
3. On-Page & Content Optimization
- Lead keyword research and competitive analysis to uncover growth opportunities.
- Optimize website content, meta data, internal linking, and media assets.
- Partner with content and brand teams to ensure SEO-aligned content development.
- Identify opportunities for content gaps, featured snippets, and schema enhancements.
4. Off-Page SEO & Authority Building
- Design and manage a link-building strategy focused on acquiring high-quality backlinks.
- Monitor and manage the backlink profile, disavowing toxic links as necessary.
5. Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Create SEO dashboards and generate performance reports.
- Analyze data and present insights, results, and recommendations to leadership.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation
- Advocate for SEO best practices across all departments.
- Stay updated on algorithm changes, trends, and tools to maintain a competitive SEO edge.
- Foster SEO education and training within internal teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of SEO experience, with 2+ years in a strategic or leadership capacity.

Technical Proficiency
- Expertise with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and their SEO implications.
- Deep knowledge of site architecture, schema, and server-side optimization.
