The Human Resources Assistant will support day-to-day HR operations within the microfinance institution, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management. The role assists in performance management, staff welfare, and disciplinary processes in line with company policies and the Employment Act.
What You Will Do
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Assist in facilitating conflict resolution and manage employee disciplinary actions.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
- Help to support the performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers and employees
- Assist in administering employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management
- 2 years of experience in human resources or related administrative roles
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) added advantage
- Proficiency in HR software
