We're Hiring – Operations Specialist | Full-Time | Dubai

A fast-growing Freight Forwarding & Customs Brokerage company based in Dubai is looking for a talented and experienced Operations Specialist to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day operations in air and sea freight (import/export)

Communicate with international agents, shipping lines, and clients

Coordinate quotations, booking shipments, and documentation

Ensure compliance with UAE import/export regulations

Manage customs clearance procedures, track shipments, and provide clients with proactive updates

Solve operational issues efficiently and provide shipping solutions tailored to clients' needs

Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience in freight forwarding/logistics/customs brokerage

Good understanding of INCOTERMS, HS codes, switch BL, shipping documents

Knowledge in import/export legal procedures and customs clearance in the UAE

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with clients and agents worldwide

Fluency in English – additional languages (Arabic, Hindi, Russian, French, etc.) are a plus

Proficient in MS Office and freight software systems (e.g., Calogi, Dubai Trade – an advantage)

Full-time availability, office-based role
