Job Description
In this role, you would be responsible for:
- Conducting user research and translating insights into compelling design solutions for cash loans, airtime, and health insurance products
- Creating end-to-end design experiences using established design systems while ensuring visual cohesion
- Developing prototypes and iterating based on user testing and stakeholder feedback
- Collaborating with Product Management and Tech teams to define UX strategy for your product area
- Implementing and extending our design system to ensure consistency across multiple touchpoints
- Conducting usability testing and incorporating feedback to optimize customer experiences
- Working directly with customers to understand their needs and validate design decisions
- Partnering with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation of designs
- Contributing to design metrics that demonstrate impact on business outcomes
Your application should demonstrate:
- 5+ years experience in product design with a focus on customer-facing digital products
- Strong UX/UI design skills with proven ability to create intuitive, user-centered designs
- Extensive experience conducting user research and translating findings into design decisions
- Proficiency in prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, or similar) and creating interactive prototypes
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems from concept to implementation
- Ability to balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints
- Strong collaboration skills working with cross-functional teams
- Experience with end-to-end product design from research through implementation
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate design decisions to diverse stakeholders
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or insurance products is highly desirable
