Description:

We are currently hiring an experienced Apigee Engineer for an enterprise-level digital project based in Abu Dhabi. This role is suited for professionals who have strong hands-on expertise in API management and enjoy working in high-impact, large-scale technical environments. The Apigee Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing secure and scalable APIs while supporting modern digital platforms. The role requires strong technical knowledge of API gateways, security standards, and backend integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale APIs using Apigee
• Implement secure API solutions following best practices
• Work with REST APIs and manage authentication using OAuth 2.0 and JWT
• Collaborate with development and integration teams on API lifecycle management
• Troubleshoot API performance, security, and integration issues
• Support continuous improvement of API platforms

Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in API development
• Strong hands-on experience with Apigee platform
• Solid understanding of RESTful services, OAuth 2.0, and JWT
• Experience with JavaScript, Java, or Node.js
• Cloud platform experience such as GCP, Azure, or AWS is an advantage
• Ability to work in enterprise and fast-paced digital environments

This is a yearly renewable contract offering exposure to large-scale digital initiatives and advanced API ecosystems.
