Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers for IT hardware, CCTV equipment and related services.
- Request and analyze quotations and preparation of comparison sheets.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow up on confirmation.
- Maintain supplier records and pricing databases.
- Track shipments and coordinate deliveries to project sites.
- Assist with import and delivery documentation.
- Maintain organized procurement files and records.
- Coordinate with projects, technical, and finance teams.
- Support the identification of any potential procurement risk such as supply delays, quality issues or compliance concerns.
- Continuous improvement – always follow best practices and suggest improvement where appropriate.
Skills & Personal Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification in procurement such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply), Supply Chain Management (CIPS-UK /CPSP-K) or its equivalent is an added advantage.
- 1 – 2 years of experience in procurement. (internship experience counts)
- Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and practices.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
