Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development and execution of the company’s marketing strategy. Ensure on-brand positioning and awareness across all aspects of the marketing mix, inbound and outbound.
  • Monitor, manage, enhance and utilize our multiple social media accounts including the consistent publishing of digital content, in order to spread awareness and drive appreciation of the company’s brand, across all our market regions.
  • Managing relationship with external agencies to develop brand materials, promotional campaigns.
  • Based on the inputs of the external agencies, develop and own the annual marketing calendar and the annual marketing budget.
  • Lead and drive marketing communication, ensure clear and powerful messages about the product, brand and value proposition to each marketing segment, both externally and internally.
  • Create, drive and execute (together with the commercial Director) the innovation roadmap.
  • Continue improving knowledge of local market dynamics.
  • Define and coordinate marketing programmes for demand creation and lead generation with our sales team and implement lead tracking and management processes.
  • Manage all aspects of marketing planning, budgeting, matrix and reporting.
  • Implement and leverage the latest marketing tools and technologies.
  • Work with the sales team to ensure all marketing goals, campaigns and strategies are perfectly aligned with the sales strategy.
  • Utilize critical market & competitive research to segment and define target markets, refine and improve the product value proposition and implement the best market- penetration strategy.
  • Support the development of the company brand and associated supporting materials, analysing market potential for prospective product launches, effective communication of the company brand both externally and internally.
  • Develop and maintain long term relationship with industry thought – leaders, marketing associations and advisors.
  • Identify a new market channels and development of strategy on how to penetrate these channels.
  • Carrying out market research, covering both customers (retail supermarkets) and consumers across various geographies, market segments and market channels.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ marketing role within the FMCG industry, with a proven track record of supporting successful marketing initiatives
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) is a plus
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in managing social media platforms, content scheduling, audience engagement and performance monitoring
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills to measure marketing effectiveness and inform strategy adjustments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively with creative agencies, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and delivering impactful campaigns.
  • Solid understanding of traditional marketing principles, digital marketing trends, and FMCG industry dynamics.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
