Job Summary
The Graduate Trainee, Insurance Operations program is designed to nurture young professionals into future leaders in the insurance industry. Trainees will gain hands-on experience across multiple departments, including Operations, Digital Sales, Customer Support, and Product Development.
This is a learning-oriented, full-time role for individuals who are passionate about innovation, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a growing organization. The trainee program will last for 3 to 6 months before individuals are considered for absorption into the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Support
- Assist in coordinating day-to-day operational activities across departments.
- Participate in data reconciliation, reporting, and process documentation.
- Support implementation of process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
- Work with teams to ensure smooth execution of policy management and claims workflows.
- Digital Sales & Marketing
- Support management of the digital sales platform and related campaigns.
- Track and analyze digital performance metrics to identify trends and improvement areas.
- Assist in creating sales and marketing materials, proposals, and customer outreach content.
- Engage with customers to understand needs and enhance their digital experience.
- Customer Support
- Manage customer inquiries and support tickets via multiple channels (email, chat, phone).
- Provide accurate and timely assistance to customers and escalate issues as needed.
- Gather customer feedback and share insights to improve products and services.
- Learning & Development
- Participate in structured training sessions covering insurance fundamentals, customer experience, and digital systems.
- Rotate across departments to gain a broad understanding of insurance operations.
- Work on assigned projects under mentorship and present progress to leadership teams.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, IT, or related fields.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and comfortable with digital tools.
- Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn about the insurance industry.
- A proactive and collaborative team player.
- Prior internship or experience in customer service, operations, or sales is an added advantage.
