Description:
DXBsolutions is seeking a seasoned Design Manager to lead the creative vision and product development for our menswear line. This senior role suits a proactive leader with deep retail experience, strong team management skills and a hands-on approach to designing commercially successful collections.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end menswear design projects, from seasonal direction and concept to final tech packs and production handover.
• Manage and mentor a design team while coordinating with merchandising, sourcing and production stakeholders.
• Drive seasonal trend direction, oversee fit development and ensure commercial viability across assortments.
• Source fabrics and trims, evaluate suppliers and translate design concepts into detailed technical specifications.
• Prepare and maintain tech-packs, review samples, and resolve fit or quality issues during development.
• Collaborate with buying and merchandising teams to align assortment strategy, pricing and launch plans.
• Maintain a strong design portfolio and ensure timely delivery of ranges for retail calendar deadlines.

Candidate profile:

• Proven track record creating retail-ready menswear collections with successful product launches.
• Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent understanding of fit, fabric sourcing, garment construction and tech-pack creation.
• Portfolio that demonstrates trend-led, commercial design and retail success.
• Experience or familiarity with markets such as South Africa, Europe (UK, Spain, France, Germany, Poland), Turkey and Ireland is preferred.
