Description: Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology is situated in Juja, 36 kilometres North East of Nairobi, along Nairobi-Thika Highway. It was started in 1981 as a Middle Level College (Jomo Kenyatta College of Agriculture and Technology (JKCAT)) by the Government of Kenya with the generousย assistance from the Japanese Government. Plans for the establishment of JKCAT started in 1977.
Job Description

LECTURER, GRADE 12 - JKU/CCEE/L/11/2025

The candidate must possess:

  • A PhD degree or its equivalent degree qualification from an accredited and recognized university in the following areas of specialization: Transportation or Structural Engineering or any other relevant field
  • A Master's degree in the following areas of specialization: Transportation or Structural Engineering or any other relevant field from an accredited and recognized university with at least three (3) years teaching experience at university level.
  • A BSc. Civil Engineering degree from an accredited and recognized university
  • Registered with the relevant professional body (Engineers Board of Kenya - EBK)
