Applicants should:
Hold a relevant degree in Law, Human Rights, Social Sciences, Public Policy, International Relations, Development Studies, or related field.
A postgraduate qualification in Human Rights, Governance, Public Policy, or a related discipline will be an added advantage, especially for Deputy Director roles.
Have progressive work experience in:
Human rights programming, policy advocacy, and management of socio-economic rights portfolios for Deputy Director – ECOSOC and Senior ECOSOC Officer.
Research, monitoring and evaluation, legal and policy analysis, and compliance work for Deputy Director – Research and Compliance.
Public education, training, capacity building, community outreach, or civic education for the Public Education and Training Officer.
Demonstrate sound understanding of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, human rights principles, and national, regional, and international human rights frameworks.
Possess strong leadership, coordination, report-writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Have experience working with government institutions, CSOs, development partners, or human rights organizations (an added advantage).
Show high levels of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to promoting and protecting human rights.
