Applicants should:
Be students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals in relevant fields, such as Law, Governance, Human Resource Management, Accounting/Finance, Counselling Psychology, Social Sciences, or related disciplines (depending on the position).
For Law Pupils, Legal Interns, Paralegal Interns and Volunteer Holding-Over Advocates:
Be law students, law graduates, or advocates awaiting admission/admission to the Bar.
Demonstrate strong interest in human rights, access to justice, and public interest litigation.
For Governance, HR, Accounting and Counselling Interns:
Hold or be pursuing a diploma/degree in the relevant specialization (e.g. Governance, HRM, BCom/Accounting/Finance, Counselling Psychology or related).
Demonstrate commitment to social justice, working with marginalized and vulnerable communities, and the mission of Kituo Cha Sheria.
Possess good research, writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
Be willing to work in a fast-paced NGO environment and occasionally travel or work in the field where required.
Be proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office and email/internet).
