Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, beverages, and drinks according to company standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain clean and organized bar areas, including the bar counter and storage areas.
- Manage bar inventory and supplies, including ordering and restocking as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to create new cocktail recipes and beverage offerings.
Drink Preparation & Service
- Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, and specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.
- Develop new and innovative cocktails to enhance the bar menu.
- Ensure proper garnishing, presentation, and consistency of beverages.
Customer Service
- Welcome guests warmly and take drink orders promptly and accurately.
- Engage with guests professionally, offering recommendations and answering questions about beverages.
- Handle customer concerns or complaints courteously and efficiently.
Bar Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages, ingredients, glassware, and supplies; alert management when replenishments are needed.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of bar products.
- Adhere to hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Cash Handling & POS
- Process orders and payments accurately through the POS system.
- Maintain correct cash handling procedures and balance receipts at the end of each shift.
Teamwork & Collaboration
- Work closely with barbacks, waitstaff, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and menu development initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or a related field.
- 2 years proven experience as a Mixologist/Bartender in a reputable establishment.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation and beverage service.
- Excellent guest engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, mixers, glassware, and bar techniques
- Strong communication, time management, and multitasking abilities
- High level of personal hygiene, integrity, and professionalism
- Ability to work under pressure and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
