Job Overview
Stratostaff is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Registry and Archiving Clerk to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's records, ensuring they are properly archived and easily accessible.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, classify, and archive physical and electronic records.
- Maintain an efficient filing system to ensure quick retrieval of documents.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Assist in the development and implementation of records management policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure proper record keeping practices are followed.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure records are accurate and up to date.
- Provide support for the digitization of records and the implementation of electronic records management systems.
Key Requirements
- Diploma in Information Studies, Records Management, or a related field.
- 2 years experience in records management or a similar role is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of records.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
