Description:
A leading Interior Fit-Out and Joinery company in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in preparing accurate project estimates, analyzing tender documents, and coordinating with project teams to ensure costs align with technical and design requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review tender drawings, specifications, and BOQs to determine material, labor, and subcontracting requirements
• Carry out quantity take-offs from drawings and related documents
• Attend on-site meetings and prepare BOQs for projects
• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, tender submissions, and budgetary proposals
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to maintain cost alignment with project requirements
• Update and maintain a database of local suppliers, subcontractors, and market rates
• Assist in value engineering exercises by recommending alternative materials or methods
• Support post-tender clarifications and negotiations as needed
• Ensure all aspects of the project are included in estimates
• Interpret specifications, price tenders, and prepare contract documents
• Analyze drawings and prepare BOQs with detailed specifications
• Prepare estimates with detailed breakdowns using estimation tools and models
• Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain prices for various project elements
• Collect proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents for estimation
• Identify labor, material, and time requirements by reviewing project documents
