Job Overview
Brites Management Services is seeking motivated and dynamic Field Sales Executives to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our market presence within the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential clients through various sales channels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and competition.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the management.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential customers.
- Negotiate sales agreements and handle customer queries.
- Provide feedback and insights on market trends and customer preferences.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Identify potential hardware shops and generate new business opportunities.
- Present and demonstrate products effectively to maximize sales.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with hardware shop owners and decision-makers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and prompt resolution of complaints.
- Educate clients on product features, usage, and benefits to drive repeat business.
Market Development & Reporting
- Conduct market visits to monitor competitors, product trends, and pricing strategies.
- Provide regular reports to management on sales performance, client feedback, and market conditions.
- Suggest new product ideas or promotional strategies based on customer insights.
Collections & Administration
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain accurate records of sales transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports as required.
- Maintain proper documentation for client interactions and orders.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- 1-year proven experience in sales, marketing, or retail environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good negotiation and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with the Mombasa region and its retail market is a plus.
- Valid driving license is an added advantage.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, energetic, and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Honest, reliable, and capable of working independently in the field
- Knowledge of Mombasa hardware market is an advantage
- Valid driver’s license and own means of transport preferred
