Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Culinary Artist to serve as a chef to one of our Company executives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining, menu innovation, and personalized meal preparation. This is a prestigious role requiring discretion, professionalism, and a passion for culinary excellence
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and present high-quality meals tailored to the chairman’s preferences and dietary requirements.
- Design weekly and seasonal menus with a focus on nutrition, variety, and creativity.
- Source fresh, high-quality ingredients and manage kitchen inventory.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Cater for private events, meetings, and special occasions as required.
- Collaborate with household staff to ensure seamless service and dining experiences.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu planning
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification in Culinary Arts from Kenya Utalii College (mandatory).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or private residence.
- Proven expertise in a variety of cuisines (local and international).
- Strong knowledge of nutrition, food allergies, and dietary restrictions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Discreet, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality
