In 1998, CURE International, in cooperation with the African Inland Church, opened the AIC-CURE International Hospital in Kijabe, Kenya. Along with being CUREโs first hospital, CURE Kenya was Africaโs first orthopedic pediatric teaching hospital for children with disabilities. The 30-bedย hospital provides care for children suffering from a wide range of orthopedic conditions, such as clubfoot, burn contractures, osteomyelitis, and other acquired or congenital conditions. The hospital also conducts mobile clinics to identify children in remote areas who can be treated at the hospital and to provide follow-up care for those who have received surgery. Located in the Rift Valley city of Kijabe, the hospital attracts patients from every region of the country. Through the training of surgeons, nurses, and healthcare professionals, CURE Kenya aims to improve the countryโs overall capacity to treat disabled children.
Job Description
- The Network Surgery Sponsorship Coordinator is a part of the Marketing and Communications team supporting the entire CURE network. This role primarily focuses on preparing high quality donor reports for use by the MSC Champions Manager. Report creation involves, but is not limited to:

- choosing appropriate stories to match the needs dictated by the Champions Manager
- editing pre-written stories for length and content
- formatting text and photos into a pre-approved PDF template
- The role requires strong attention to detail, reliable follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Choosing appropriate CUREkid profiles to include in reports based on needs dictated by Champions Manager.
- Prepare reports for mid-level donors participating in surgery sponsorship.
- Record profile connetion information in the CRM.
- Work with the communications and donor services teams to maintain accurate and high-quality content.
- Updating the tracking spreadsheets.
- Meet regularly with the CURE Champions Manager, Global Content Manager, and CUREkids Coordinator Team Lead to align on priorities, tasks, and timelines
- Help troubleshoot issues or delays with report creation. .
