Our client, a reputable and fast-paced media television network in Kenya, is seeking to hire a mature, diligent, and highly organized Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Chief Operations Officer (C.O.O).
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day coordination of the C.O.O’s office, facilitating effective communication across departments, managing key administrative processes, and supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple priorities, maintain discretion, and thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure media environment.
Key Responsibilities.
Manage the C.O.O’s schedule, communication, and correspondence including emails, calls, meetings, and travel plans, ensuring efficient time management and smooth daily operations.
Draft, edit, and prepare professional documents and reports such as proposals, letters, presentations, and internal communications for review and approval.
Coordinate and organize meetings, events, and company engagements, ensuring all logistics, materials, and briefings are well-prepared.
Take accurate meeting notes, track action items, and follow up on key deliverables to ensure timely execution of decisions and projects.
Serve as a liaison between the C.O.O, staff, management, and external partners, ensuring clear, timely, and professional communication.
Handle confidential information and office administration duties with discretion, professionalism, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Key Requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Communications, Public Relations, International Relations, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of maturity, professionalism, flexible, self-driven, and adaptable to changing circumstances and discretion.
