Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Process and load payments for suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee accounts reconciliations, collections, and receivables management.
- Address existing financial and data entry backlogs and update accounting records.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation.
- Ensure statutory and tax compliance (PAYE, VAT, Withholding, NHIF, NSSF, etc.).
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, ledgers, and supporting schedules.
- Support management in implementing financial controls and best practices.
- Uphold confidentiality and integrity in managing large volumes of client funds.
Qualifications and Experience
- CPA (K) qualification (Certified Public Accountant – Kenya).
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a reputable audit or accounting firm.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, tax laws, and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Proven ability to handle high-value financial transactions with honesty and precision.
