Job Description
  • We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Clinical team.

Overall Responsibility

  • To provide high-quality clinical care to patients through diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases and conditions, while ensuring compliance with clinical standards, protocols, and hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient consultations, take history, perform physical examinations, and order necessary investigations.
  • Diagnose and manage common illnesses and injuries in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Prescribe medications and treatment in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Provide emergency care, including resuscitation and stabilization of critically ill patients.
  • Refer patients appropriately for specialized care when necessary.
  • Participate in health education, promotion, and disease prevention activities.
  • Support implementation of immunization, maternal and child health, and chronic disease management programs.
  • Participate in community outreach and health screening programs.
  • Participate in ward rounds and ensure continuity of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient records.
  • Adhere to clinical protocols, infection prevention and control standards, and safety procedures.
  • Participate in Continuous Medical Education sessions and quality improvement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health regulations and institutional policies.
  • Contribute to audit processes and reporting on clinical performance indicators.

Job Qualifications & Skills 

  • Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution.
  • Registered with the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya and holding a valid practicing license.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ post-internship clinical experience in a busy healthcare facility-preferred.
  • Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is an added advantage.
  • Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
