Description:
Smakagt Group, a fast-growing transport and contracting company in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to strengthen financial accuracy, compliance, and leadership across all business units. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in a dynamic and expanding finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Reconcile trial balance accounts and ensure data integrity
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
• Coordinate with banks for facilities, LCs, and other financial matters
• Support annual audits and ICV reporting with external auditors
• Prepare and file VAT and Corporate Tax returns on time
• Produce monthly financial analysis for suppliers and equipment
• Maintain supplier aging reports and fixed asset registers
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls
• Assist management with ad-hoc financial analysis and reports

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax regulations
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
