Outspan Hospital started operations with the establishment of an Out Patient Department on August 7, 2001. A month later, the In Patient Department was opened with a capacity of 21 beds. Currently, the Out Patient Department has evolved into a one stop shop for all medical services expected of a national referral hospital. Despite the high cost of day to day operations and purchase and maintenance of modern medical equipment, The Outspan Hospital has retained very low rates in charges and fees. Some of the rates have never been reviewed since the facility opened its doors.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop, execute, and oversee the annual marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and consistent brand messaging.
- Engagement and Visibility Enhancement: Plan and implement regional PR, digital communication, and events to boost the institution’s visibility and engagement within the community and academic circles.
- Digital and Social Media Management: Lead the institution’s online presence by devising and managing effective social media strategies, campaigns, and online reputation management.
- Localized Campaign Innovation: Adapt corporate campaigns to resonate with the local community, addressing their specific preferences and needs while maintaining brand integrity.
- Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify, establish, and manage strategic partnerships and sponsorships, both consumer-oriented and business-oriented, to expand the institution’s reach and influence.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
- Served a similar position for a minimum period of three
- (3) years.
