Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Mentor in Turkana. This role involves guiding and supporting project participants, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. If you are committed to making a difference in the lives of others, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to project participants in Turkana.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and evaluate participant progress and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement effective strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of participant activities and progress.
  • Support participants in identifying and overcoming challenges.

Requirements

  • Diploma in a relevant field such as Education, Social Work, or Community Development.
  • Proven experience in mentoring or similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for community development and empowerment.
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
