DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure the security of the premises.

Monitor and operate CCTV and other surveillance systems.

Control entry and exit points, ensuring only authorized individuals are allowed access.

Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access through proactive observation and intervention.

Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or other emergency situations.

Provide detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities.

Communicate effectively with other guards, staff, and law enforcement when necessary.

Maintain a visible and professional security presence at all times.

Conduct security checks and inspections as required.

Enforce rules, regulations, and safety procedures within the premises.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Security Guard or similar role

Physically fit and able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods

High level of honesty, integrity, and vigilance

Strong judgment and decision-making skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure or in emergency situations

Basic understanding of security operations and equipment

Certificate of good conduct and references from previous employers (preferred)

Training in first aid, firefighting, or basic security operations is an added advantage
