Job Description

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee records in physical and digital formats.
  • Support HRIS updates, leave management, and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing job adverts, shortlisting candidates, and onboarding.
  • Act as first point of contact for employee inquiries on HR policies and benefits.
  • Help organize employee engagement activities and welfare programs.
  • Support performance management cycles by collecting and tracking appraisals.
  • Prepare and verify attendance, overtime, and leave data for payroll processing.
  • Maintain training records and assist in identifying training needs.
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies and Kenyan labor laws.
  • Compile HR reports on recruitment, turnover, leave, and training.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee data.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Officer.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Human Resource Management
  • 1–2 years of experience in HR operations or administrative support
  • Basic knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR practices
  • Experience with HRIS is an advantage
