DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Property Sales:
Actively prospect, identify, and pursue new business opportunities for residential property sales through various channels including walk-ins, referrals, cold calls, online leads, and field prospecting.
Convert qualified leads into successful sales through strategic follow-up and closing techniques.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for potential home buyers, providing timely and professional responses to inquiries.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to foster trust, encourage referrals, and generate repeat business.
Offer personalized advice based on client needs, budget, and preferences to guide them through the property buying journey.
Conduct Property Presentations and Site Visits:
Schedule and conduct property showings and site visits with potential buyers, highlighting key features and investment value.
Present properties in a persuasive, well-informed manner, addressing client questions and concerns effectively.
Negotiate Offers & Close Deals:
Negotiate pricing, payment plans, and contract terms between buyers and the company in alignment with company policies.
Prepare, review, and facilitate signing of sales agreements while ensuring full legal and procedural compliance.
Liaise with lawyers, finance officers, and mortgage institutions to ensure smooth and timely property transfers.
Market Intelligence & Strategy:
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and demand to adjust sales approaches accordingly.
Provide regular feedback to management regarding market insights, customer expectations, and suggested product improvements.
Sales Reporting & Pipeline Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, prospects, and sales activities using CRM tools.
Generate and submit detailed weekly and monthly sales reports, including pipeline status, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
Collaboration with Marketing & Operations:
Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and digital advertising strategies.
Provide insights on what marketing materials or strategies resonate best with buyers on the ground.
Coordinate with the operations and legal teams to ensure property availability, readiness, and documentation are in order.
After-Sales Service:
Offer ongoing support to clients after purchase, including follow-ups, referrals, issue resolution, and onboarding for handover processes.
Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain brand reputation through high-quality service and integrity.
Mentorship & Leadership Support:
Support junior sales agents with onboarding, training, and sharing of best practices as needed.
Step in to lead client engagements or presentations when requested by the Sales Manager or Director.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure that all sales transactions are conducted in compliance with company policies, legal standards, and real estate regulations in Kenya.
Maintain strict confidentiality of client and company information.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
Degree in Real Estate, Land Economics, Business, Marketing, or any other related field
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in residential property sales within a real estate company
Proven ability to close high-value property deals and manage a sales pipeline effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide junior team members
Confident, self-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
