DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise all security personnel on site, ensuring adherence to duty rosters and shift schedules.
Prepare and manage weekly and monthly duty schedules to maintain 24/7 security coverage.
Conduct daily briefings and debriefings with security teams to communicate objectives and incidents.
Ensure proper access control measures are in place and enforced for staff, visitors, and vehicles.
Monitor security operations via CCTV and ensure all surveillance systems are functional.
Conduct regular patrols and spot checks to assess and ensure compliance with security procedures.
Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, or alarms in a timely and professional manner.
Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Maintain and update security records including incident reports, shift reports, and audit logs.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
Oversee maintenance and readiness of security equipment including radios, CCTV systems, alarms, and fire extinguishers.
Train and mentor junior security staff to ensure professionalism and high performance.
Enforce company policies and procedures related to health, safety, and security.
Participate in emergency preparedness planning and drills, including fire and evacuation exercises
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
Diploma in Security Management, Criminology, or a related field
Additional training in CCTV surveillance, firefighting, and/or first aid is a strong advantage
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a security-related role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
Good knowledge of local security laws and procedures
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Physically fit and alert with strong attention to detail
