DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Control & Stock Management
Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels of all raw and packaging materials.
Monitor inventory levels daily to ensure materials are available to meet production demands.
Propose reorders and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment of stock.
Conduct regular spot checks and assist in monthly stock takes and reconciliations.
Receiving & Inspection
Receive incoming raw materials and packaging items from suppliers and verify against delivery documents (invoices, delivery notes, and purchase orders).
Inspect materials upon receipt for quantity and quality compliance, reporting any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor immediately.
Ensure all goods received are promptly recorded in inventory management systems.
Issuing of Materials
Issue raw and packaging materials to production departments in line with job orders and production schedules.
Ensure proper documentation of all issued items using bin cards, stock issue forms, and electronic inventory systems.
Minimize material wastage through accurate measurement, issuing, and control.
Store Maintenance & Housekeeping
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper layout of the store to comply with safety and hygiene standards.
Label all stock items clearly and store them according to prescribed storage guidelines.
Maintain proper segregation of materials based on type, batch, expiry, or any other categorization system in place.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records, including receipts, issues, and returns.
File all documents (delivery notes, stock issue notes, stock take sheets, etc.) systematically and retrieve them as needed for audit or review.
Assist in preparing stock reports, consumption summaries, and variance analyses for management.
Compliance & Safety
Adhere to internal control procedures and inventory handling policies.
Follow all occupational health and safety guidelines applicable to store operations.
Report any incidents, near misses, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
Diploma/Certificate in Stores/Inventory Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
ERP or WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience is an added advantage
Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory or storekeeping roles in a fast-paced FMCG environment
Experience in a beverage processing plant or other food-grade environments
