We are seeking a results-driven Sales and Marketing Executive with proven experience in the microfinance or credit sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing marketing strategies, and building strong client relationships. The role requires a proactive, target-oriented professional who can balance sales performance with brand development while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Acquisition
Drive customer acquisition through field visits, referrals, digital platforms, and partnerships.
Proactively identify new business opportunities and market segments to expand the company’s client base.
Sales & Revenue Growth
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for credit products.
Upsell and cross-sell additional financial products to existing clients.
Marketing Campaigns & Brand Awareness
Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, and activations).
Monitor and analyze campaign effectiveness to optimize future initiatives.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis
Conduct regular market assessments to track industry trends and customer needs.
Benchmark against competitors to ensure products remain relevant and competitive.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the CRM system.
Provide excellent after-sales support to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
Channel Development & Partnerships
Strengthen community and stakeholder engagement through collaborative initiatives.
Collections Support
Work with credit and collections teams to ensure timely repayments and maintain a healthy loan book.
Assist in educating clients on financial literacy, repayment schedules, and responsible borrowing.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on sales performance, client acquisition, and market activities.
Provide insights and recommendations to management for data-driven decision-making.
Brand Representation & Networking
Represent the company at trade fairs, business forums, and community events.
Build and maintain a positive brand image in line with company values.
Process Improvement
Provide feedback on marketing and sales processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Contribute ideas to enhance customer experience and streamline service delivery.
Team Collaboration & Training
Support the training and mentorship of junior sales staff and agents.
Share market knowledge and best practices with colleagues to drive team performance.
Product Knowledge & Promotion
Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and services to effectively pitch to clients.
Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to individuals, groups, and corporate clients.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in sales and marketing within the microfinance or credit industry (mandatory).
Strong understanding of microfinance products, credit risk, and financial regulations.
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales and revenue targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong organizational skills.
